Selected Drawings and Illustrations

Like most humans, drawing was an early form of artistic expression. And as the only child left at home it allowed me to play with ideas, to imagine worlds where I could change realities or erase them completely, to start anew. Drawing has always been my most simple form of accessible creativity. Because of this, I have never aimed to replicate realism, even in portraits—there is already enough reality and perfectionism in the world and countless newer ways, to capture all of it it. Instead, I am drawn to what lies beneath the surface, all of the colors that shape our moods and environments, and what I can express through lines and hues. This is the true soul of my art.
