Joining two of my biggest artistic passions, drawing and writing.
Timeslip is a passion project that explores the concept of time and its role in each of our destinies. It is inspired by the early questions of my childhood as I wandered about our neighborhood on the border of Brooklyn and Queens. I was always wondering what stories, all the old architecture, original cobblestones and the early American brickwork, could tell me about the years past and its inhabitants.
With many signs of a rich history still remaining, and the help of evolving technology, I am able to find fascinating answers. The more I researched, The more stories were found hidden, in nearly every crevice of the neighborhood. It is inspiring research, and makes it possible to weave a fun tale of twisted truths and possiblities in the lives of original Brooklyn legends, who arent necesaarily household names. I can’t wait to give you a heaping taste of early Brooklyn, the adventorous spirits that made it the epicenter of cool, it is today.
